I found Arknights, ZZZ, Tears of Themis, Wuthering Waves (Wuwa) merch in Shanghai, China

Because of the language barrier and uncooperative-ness of Google Maps, it’s not very easy to find stuff online in China if you are a foreigner using the Google ecosystem.

Oh it’s Ciaccona!

Even if you had a VPN, it doesn’t mean that access to Google search and Google Maps would yield accurate results when finding particular stores. In this case, I made it a point to look for merch for Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero in my latest trip to Shanghai, China. I was there for a bit of work (you can check out the link below) and thankfully our schedule was light enough for me to get some shopping done in the evening.

The huge Pop Mart store by Nanjing Road

Nanjing Road is the heart and center of modern day Shanghai commerce, with the largest HUAWEI store standing across a huge POP MART store on opposing ends. I was even shocked to find a store dedicated to my favorite childhood candy: White Rabbit.

SEGA, Wuwa, ZZZ, Arknights, and more

I could not find the exact name of the “anime building” that housed merch, but I easily found it a few meters from the Pop Mart side of Nanjing Road.

Walking down that side, keep your eyes peeled to the right and you will see a building with a Luckin Coffee, a sushi restaurant and the SEGA merch store outside. If you pop inside, you will see a branch of Tamashii Nations that is definitely worth checking out. An elevator to the second floor will lead you to … good boy Lycan greeting you!

I couldn’t make out the name of the store in Chinese but the English written on the signage said ‘Fanshu Kuma Toys.’ The store featured merch from gacha favorites from Kuro Games and Hoyo Labs (Mihoyo) which included Tears of Themis, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves, and yes even Arknights!

As with any typical merch, (hi Cantarella!) it features, magnets, bookmarks, paperweights,

I think the name of the store is Kuma Toys

Sample Merch!

The Arknights operator banners were on sale. There were several series to choose from. I got the one that had the Siege crossovers but sadly I only got Mulberry.

These are great bag tags! I should have bought more.

Only Lingyang was left because he is definitely the worst 5 star Wuwa character
Bai Zhi everyone’s favorite girlie!

As a bonus I was able to drop by the SEGA store and found some games from ATLUS like Metaphor ReFantazio and got a bookmark and bag tag.

So there you go. I hope this short guide can help those of you looking for merch from popular gacha games in Shanghai. Nanjing Road is really the place to be when it comes to these things so I hope you get to find this building in your next trip to Shanghai.
