I’ve been a huge fan of Patima since the time they built sturdy professional-grade underwater housings for smartphones. They kickstarted 2012 with the underwater case for the iPhone 4s, for which I have a hands on review of photo and video samples.

Samsung Canada just got an influx of its earned media on Reddit. Top post, front page. All they had to do was send an influential media guy (or blogger, who knows?) a one-of-a-kind custom-made Samsung Galaxy SIII and **boom**.
I must say that I highly doubt this strategy would work all the time — because, well, it really seems more like (an expensive) token of appreciation.
Confirmed: Tweets were going around the circles of SMART employees. #SMARTGalaxyS3 is in fact real. But it’s different when you see it on SMART’s official Twitter account.

Exclusive to SMART? Crazy. Apparently the other “telco” has it too. But based on track record, they’re more of a marketing company these days than a telco. Telcos are supposed to have signal. You know where to go.
