    Wait, it’s not a booth. It’s a portable office!

  • MWC Asides: Aha! What is this Android sticker hiding behind it?

    The schwag at the Google booth is awesome. Android pins, Android coffee cups, Android stickers … stickers which can be really useful for hiding things. 🙂

  • Day 0: Jollibee Android Application seen on SMART Netphone

    You’ve seen it here folks. Looks like Jollibee will be raking in a new market demographic. Since this app is WAC-enabled, it will allow any telco to house the application. The app has the potential to integrate with your payment gateway (in this case either COD or SMART Money). Watch the video.

  • Day 0: HP’s “Let’s Do Amazing”

    I really had to take a photo of HP’s ‘Let’s Do Amazing’ tagline. It’s waiting to be meme-ed. On another note, webOS tablet tomorrow!

  • Day 0: BlackBerry Booth is all PlayBook

    There’s only one thing we want from BlackBerry and that’s the PlayBook. They have it. The last photo shows some guys doing a technical demo before the big day.

  • Day 0: Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S II

    The Samsung booth is huge. They’re showcasing everything with full force. But the main showcase is twofold: the newly updated Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which puts it head on with the Motorola Xoom (since both are running Android 3.0 Honeycomb) and the Samsung Galaxy S II. More of this at MWC ’11 later!

  • Day 0: LG’s booth opens with Optimus 3D and 8.9 inch Optimus Pad tablet

    Passing by the LG booth during construction, I was able to hang for a bit to see the fabrications they were putting up. Yup. 8.9 inches ladies and gents. That’s the Optimus Pad. Protect your Intel core i7 laptop from online threats using a comprehensive firewall software and an extensive ESET security software.

  • Day 0: HUAWEI U8300 with cool form factor

    At MWC we also cover gadgets that don’t make it to Philippine shores. Here is a phone that I hope will for the sole reason of form factor. Classic brick size, robust QWERTY keypad and BlackBerry Pearl like navi-ball (careful, this is prone to getting dirty!). Specs:
