UPDATE:

The dual SIM Lenovo S880 looks amazing in white.
Lenovo is becoming more and more agressive with their phone launches. The other day, Lenovo Global paid a visit to the Philippines to introduce two new phones — the A60+ and the S800. In summary, the A60+ is the spiritual successor to two phones they launched in the last few months — the Lenovo A60 and the Lenovo A65. To those of you who bought an A65, you **might** experience some buyer’s regret as the new A60+ comes with more or less the same specs, with a slightly different form factor. It is also more affordable at only PHP 4,999.00
When I asked about why they would release a new A60/A65 replacement so soon, they said that these two models, although new in the Philippines have been around in China for so long and it all made sense — for a time, the PH clock for releases was not in sync with the rest of the world (where the “rest” really means China). Part of Lenovo’s strategy for this new set of phones is to align release dates so that the Philippines gets the latest and this begins with the new A60+ and S880 line. They also showed us a high-end Lenovo smartphone to compete with the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy SIII but we were not able to get a photo.
Here are the spec sheets for both the A60+ and the S880. Click on the image for the bigger version.
If you have a little more cash to spare but can’t afford a “phablet” like the Samsung Galaxy Note, you may want to opt for the new S880, a responsive 5″ phone/tablet hybrid that runs on the latest Android ICS operating system (the A60+ runs on Gingerbread).
I’m really excited about Lenovo’s aggressive pricing strategy, bringing in more affordable high-quality Android phones into the marketplace. When asked about new Android tablets, they said that these are also on the way very soon.
In terms of service centers, Lenovo Mobile has utilized the Lenovo stores at the mall for drop off points.
