In restrospect: Digital Walker celebrates 20 years in the industry

·

Digital Walker is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary in the business. I’ve been a patron of brothers Charlie and Howard “Bogs” Paw since they were just a small store in Greenhills called Games and Gadgets.

I got my very first HP iPAQ 4350 from them and later on, they became real enablers as they provided a lot of the review units for MPH Magazine under Hinge-Inquirer Publications.

The brand grew from there, opening the Crumpler Store when High Street just opened in the early 2010’s and with Digital Walker Zoom that catered to the camera loving crowd. Digital Walker was always synonymous to the tech community and Charlie in particular has always been very generous with raffles and giveaways to our orgs back in the day – from Mapalad to PhilMUG.

One of the first stores to open at High Street BGC was The Crumpler Store that later became Digital Walker. This is me with Crumpler’s “Pineapple Juju” and Gabe Mercado.

Twenty years later, Digital Walker has become synonymous with well-curated tech. They’re celebrating their 20th anniversary with a huge sale and showcase at the Glorietta activity Center by Palm Drive this entire long weekend From Aug 20 – 23. You can expect bank promo sales, discounts, and lots of activities for tech enthusiasts and their families and friends.

So if you’re in the market for new tech or stuff to fit your tech into, the activity center in Glorietta is the place to be. To Charlie and Bogs and the rest of the Digital Walker / Digits Trading team, congratulations!
