If you can’t get enough of Nite Owl and Rorschach, The End is Nigh brings gamers into a 6 episode series that can’t be found anywhere else except through the Internet. This is another good reason to convince gamers to grab a Steam account (there’s also a promo for Unreal Tournament III Titan Pack at $11.00 till the 15th of March — but let’s save that for another post).
“Discless downloads” are becoming the next big thing that lessens game piracy and increases margins since developers don’t need to answer the costs for physical discs or boxes. When promos like these occur, gamers are more than willing to drop a few dollars more than the pirated disk price in order to have access to exclusive online content and engage other gamers in lobby matches. It’s a one stop shop, really.
