So dating hasn’t been stellar lately. I’ve decided to take up Lia’s advice and coop myself back into my geeky cave and engage in something unproductive yet fun. What timing too, because Bill Roper had also just released Hellgate London, the one and only game that is making me use my PC more often now. I’ve been waiting for this release for almost 2 years. Ack! I’m back to using Windows.
Back in college, my breaks consisted of three endeavors – playing guitar at the back of school, playing Counterstrike at the back of school, and playing Diablo II at the back of school. Hellgate London brings the third activity back to life as these were the ex-Diablo developers of Blizzard who wanted to go their own way. They are called Flagship Studios.
The Collector Edition (Asian Singapore Server) comes with an oversized box set, graphic novel, manuals, bonus content disk, and special access to limited edition items.
So is anyone else playing on the Asian server?
I was going to give a shout out of thanks to the guy who was able to get me a copy via mail. But he’d rather not be mentioned as he works for another gaming company 🙂

I’m going to try it first, seeing as the gaming community didn’t receive the game that well. I’m hoping it will get better soon, with patches and updates and whatnot.
Like you, I’ve also been waiting for this game for a while, so, it’s quite disappointing to hear of its less than stellar opening day.
If things work out well for it, I’ll see you in there soon enough. ^_^
the game is less innovative than what i expected it to be. what it really is …. its diablo II on steroids. exactly Diablo II. and thats not necessarily a bad thing. its still loads of fun! 🙂 we can only wait for more content!
