Lola (Filipino for grandma) needs money to buy more jewelry. What’s the fastest way to remit money to the Philippines but through Xoom?
It’s been days since I applied for my Union Bank EON card (so that I can link it to my PayPal account) but still no word. When PayPal fails, there is still always Xoom 🙂

I got an email from UnionBank confirming receipt of my online application.
That was days ago. I’m not one to whine, but this is taking a while. 🙁

I guess Xoom is now challenged by PayPal? They were able to bridge the gap back when there was no PayPal available for receiving money.
Hi Guys,
Have you got your EON cards already? If not, call the branch you’ve selected during the signup and ask if your EON card is there. If you’re in Metro, would only take 3 days for the card be ready or pickup. If in province, a week or two. Then when your EON cards are activated, you can now login to your paypal and enroll for the expanded use program, the verification may take 5 working days from Unionbank, then after which you need to call the customer support for your 4-digit # so you can get verified. You can check out their website for more details, https://www.unionbankph.com/content.asp?paramID=AMBKADAIBA
I got my paypal PH and EON linked together last last week. 🙂
