Lacie Little Big Drive pushes 10Gb/s with Thunderbolt; 1TB starts at PHP 31,560.00

If you’re in the market for a faster-than-USB external drive, you might want to take a look at Lacie’s latest desktop beauty, the Little Big Drive that pushes transfer speeds up to 10 gigabits per second. If you convert that to actual data transferred, that’s around 1.25GB per second. You can practically transfer a full feature 1080p movie in roughly 8-10 seconds. Now that’s fast.

These drives are available in both 1TB and 2TB configurations. They also look really pretty and especially go well with your up to date Macintosh with Thunderbolt ports. No optional USB ports here folks.

As to where you can buy these, coming soon as stocks have not yet arrived!
