Every blog consists of 3 acts. The first act is called the Post. The blogger makes you read something ordinary, but of course it probably isn’t.
The second act is called the Monetization. The blogger makes this ordinary something do something extra ordinary.
Now you’re looking for the secret, but you won’t find it. That’s why there’s a third act, called the Search Engine Optimization. This is the part where it twists and turns – you see something you’ve never seen before.
Voice 1: How do you do it?
Voice 2: My life is full of secrets.
Voice 1: I want to know your secrets.
Voice 2: I am on a non disclosure agreement.
This person can do what other bloggers only pretend to do … real monetization!

how about marc “the PH SEO father”? how is his blog faring? :p just curious hehehe
all magicians have their secrets 🙂
Thanks for the insightful post. I agree, it’s all about monetization. I also read your technical writing post and would add that technical writers can actually use blogs to do their jobs. Soon, you’ll even be able to create a “New Help Topic”, not just new blog posts, using a blogging account and a connection to the internet.
Stay tuned for more on this.

Not quite related, but how do you make your post links point to the date of posting instead of the category that the post is in? Another option, how do you make them point to the post number instead of a post slug?
I think I’ll be bugging you about this tomorrow anyway.
That was quite funny. =)
