UPDATE: If you’re interested in Lenovo’s P-series (with long life battery) do check out the Lenovo P770.

If you’re a close follower of Lenovo’s release schedule for phones, you’ll notice that they churn out about four or five units a quarter. At the recent CES, Lenovo unveiled five new phones for Q1 2013. We have one of these units now. The Ideaphone S720 is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a sub 10k Android device with a 4.5″ screen.

In terms of look and feel, the S720 really reminds me of the HTC One X. Side by side, they are almost indistinguishable. Aesthetically, the main difference between the two is that the S720 is less curved and slightly heavier, but remember that it is also more affordable by more than 50%.

Specs include:

Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
4.5″ screen with a 960×540 IPS display
8MP back camera and 1MP front camera
dual SIM functionality
dual core MTK CPU
thin 9.9mm footprint
2000 mAh battery

Again, the main selling points of the S720 are huge screen, long battery life, dual SIM features and last but definitely not the least, a great price point. The 4.5″ screen is bigger than the Samsung Galaxy SIII by 0.3 inches. It comes with a 2000mAh battery (the iPhone 5 comes with a 1440MAh battery). Add dual SIM and a sub 10k price, you’ve definitely got a winner.

The Ideaphone S720 costs PHP 9,999 and comes in bright white or hot pink finish. Available now.

even your expensive phones are most made in china. china has very cheap labor cost and other operating cost for large business industries. kaya mura benta, mura puhunan.
