Hi Jayvee! I just called 888.1111 and spoke with a certain Brandon Undang (I don’t want to waste time going to a Smart Wireless Center only to be told that this promo does not exist) to check if my account is due for renewal already and he, indeed told me that they DO NOT have this promo. I even quoted the presser from Mr. Isberto. Please pass that info to the Smart guys & gals Thanks!

i called smart yesterday about contract renewal (not knowing about this press release, and i was actually hoping to get a lumia) and the customer rep said early renewal isn’t allowed anymore. sabagay, Consumable 500 lang kasi plan ko. >.< di kikita masyado ang smart saken.

The catch is actually very obvious.. a postpaid lock in for phones that are approaching 2 years old in shelf life. Hats off to Apple.

Hi Jayvee,

I’m currently on plan 800 all in. I’m already due for retention since last Feb. Been holding back since I’m still waiting for a good deal and this seems to be it! Just a question, if I’m on plan 800 can i avail of the Iphone 4? I know it isn’t part of piso sale but I’m willing to shell out additional cash for an Iphone.

A week already passed and Smart hasn’t notified me yet if my application has been approved. The smart rep in SM Megamall told me it’ll take about a week. So how long does this really take??? Was so excited in the first place.
