OS X’s Safari doesn’t render post quicktags in the Wordpress dashboard.

It does on WP versions 2.2 and above.

Also, I believe WP 2.3’s WYSIWYG editor works on Safari now (not that I’m fond of using WYSIWYG editors for blogging).
