No, even if you had the time but are still employed.

I think it’s a conflict of interest unless your employer doesn’t mind you doing sidelines during work hours, or you don’t care.

If you’re going to attend presscons, go pro!

if I’m invited, I always go, well its a press conference for TV entertainment, just inserted some fun while writing and interviewing the people there

It might be difficult but not impossible. There are remedies and strategies a blogger can take in order to attend a press conference. The solution is … unique to the individual.
