tell them how to apply. explain the importance of developing a niche para u'll be more known as a blogger/an expert of a certain topic rather than iba iba. instead of jack of all trades (master of none] sa problogging, mas better expert sa isang niche lang.

as opposed to what the others mentioned above, i do not think u should talk so much about the differences sa problogging since abe already covered that. u'd be better off imo talking about what you really know about - network blogging.

my two cents

Perhaps you will identify those different monetization methods with the highest earning potential, plus a quick tip for each?

For example, a fast or easy to implement tip for adsense, affiliate marketing, direct selling, etc?

I agree with Noemi that your talk can emphasize more on your experience and use other bloggers you know as example for other models. (assuming they gave permission)

i thought professional blogging has categories being independent, network or both. You can only speak from your experience but cite others who have gone the independent route.

I don't know how much ground you can cover given the limited amount of time.

Maybe what Juned says can work. The experience of blogging under a network.

As for the pros and cons, I think they'd vary from person to person so you can handle it as what you personally feel about problogging.

Maybe one thing you can also discuss is if problogging (or telecommuting for that matter) is a career killer - if you'd stagnate if you do nothing but blog. :D

I'm sure people would like to know such things as the pros and cons of pro blogging, how much much could they expect to earn from it as opposed to a regular job, and if there is a certain type of personality who would enjoy pro blogging the most. :)

Speak on what you are more familiar with. Give insight from where you stand in at present. In this case the blog network perspective. What is it like to work for a blog network. What is an ordinary working day for someone who works for a blog network.

Hope this helps :)

I think it'd be worthwhile to differentiate between simply monetizing your blog and doing it as a living (whether you earn from your own blogs or from writing under a network). And perhaps some giblets on how to do engage both.

Whenever people get to know that I problog, they're ask how could they be employed under a network too. So answering the how part would be nice.

I don't know if you'd want to touch the "how much" part, though. :D

ive been contemplating about this noems. i feel though that when you say "professional blogging" it would have to do more with blog networks?

need more insights from people on what path to take this talk :)
