I conducted an offline hunt for a site mascot. I figured that I was best known for my first name in the online web space which meant that I had to take the “other” route in promoting this site - which meant going the McDonald’s route and find me a mascot.
So after searching far and wide for the JayveeBug (thanks Dez for the recommendation) I was able to find an eager bug who would let me use its face as this site’s “poster boybug.”
Not to preempt anything but I’d like to give thanks to the people involved as soon as everything gets sorted out.

How cute is that! Excellent choice. I love it. It just seems so very ‘you.’ =)
ur mascot is good. but improve it pa. im sure it will be more cuter. pwede mag-suggest? how about isang malaking bug in-the-act of stepping on the tiny you? ur expression would be in shocked na parang ayaw matuloy ang pag-apak ng insect and your eyes is popping out
Looks good. Dayunyor’s idea is cool… And maybe it will be a step by step thing. Your banner has you in there, so i think it should have you still, with the bug taking a prominent place…for the sake of continuity. And then after a while, when the bug has become the ubiquitous bug (nice ring to it, you might want to file for a trademark =), completely remove your persona… if that’s what you wish.
Come to think of it, who are the pinoy bloggers who have a mascot?
Far as I know only Da Jayvster.
