America’s Next Muppet

Coming in Summer of 2006, America’s Next Muppet is the new reality TV show to be aired on ABC. The Jim Henson muppets will be collaborating with Disney in order to make the show interactive, where the audience can actually vote for America’s Next Muppet.
Kermit and the other classic Muppet characters are setting up a talent contest to find the newest member of the legendary Muppet troupe. All kinds of new wacky Muppet characters and wild new Muppet acts will audition for the panel of judges (such as Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo) who will be the reviewing the performances.
I have a feeling the Simon Cowell of the group will be played by the geriatric duo of Statler and Waldorf (the 2 old men who sit on the balcony).
